Everything about Changlimithang Stadium totally explainedChanglimithang Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan, which serves as the National Stadium. It is currently used mostly for football and archery matches. The stadium holds 15,000. Historically, it was the battleground between the Paro Penlope and his rival.
The stadium was the site of the match called The Other Final, a symbolic match played on June 30, 2002, in which Bhutan beat Montserrat 4-0.
Changlimithang stadium was also the venue of Bhutan's first open theatrical production, which was A Tale of Two Cities.
